On April 22, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM Eastern Time, the Source Water Collaborative is hosting its 3rd webinar titled “Leveraging U.S. Forest Service BIL Funds for Source Water Protection on Forested Lands,” as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Webinar Series.

On Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:30 pm (eastern time), the Source Water Collaborative (SWC) will host a webinar on this year’s opportunity to update the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) high priority source water protection areas and agricultural and forestry practices landowners can implement to get up to 90 percent incentive payments to protect drinking water sources under the Farm Bill.

The Source Water Collaborative is hosting its 2nd webinar as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Webinar Series on April 10, 2024 from 2:30 – 4:00 PM Eastern Time titled Demystifying How to Access BIL Funds for Source Water Protection and Natural Infrastructure.

The EPA’s Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds is releasing a Request for Applications for managing the second Healthy Watersheds Consortium Grant Program. 

The Minnesota Source Water Protection Collaborative created an artist residency to empower rural community members to safeguard their drinking water and engage local government to join them in dialogue. 

On February 8 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm ET, the national Source Water Collaborative is hosting the “Addressing Emerging Contaminants in Source Water Using BIL Grants and Forgivable Loans” webinar.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is requesting nominations until January 2nd, 2024 to serve on the Farm, Ranch, and Rural Communities Federal Advisory Committee’s Animal Agriculture Water Quality (AAWQ) subcommittee.

EPA has released a new report entitled, “Inventory of Sites with the Potential to Release Contaminants to Sources of Drinking Water.”

Next week, September 24-30, 2023, is Source Water Protection Week! This year’s theme is once again “Protect the Source.” Source Water Collaborative (SWC) members and partners can celebrate and promote the week by sharing information with your networks, creating posts on social media, and helping to encourage actions aimed at protecting our nation’s drinking water sources.

On September 6 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm ET, the American Water Works Association (AWWA), a Source Water Collaborative member, is hosting the “All in One Place- Water Project Planning and Funding Clearinghouses Webinar.”
